In this Privacy Policy references to “us” or “we” refer to Spectrum Hair, Tanning & Beauty Salon.
Spectrum take privacy very seriously and will only collect information that’s relevant to your service. We do not share your information with any other organisation, or persons. The information collected is only used to help us provide our clients with the best possible service. At any time, you may request to see or have a copy of your recorded information. You can also have us delete any information we have on you at any time.
Transparency
When booking an appointment we ask for your name and contact number, we will ask you if you would like a text message sent to you to remind you of your appointment 24 hours before, a box will then be ticked if you agree.
You can opt out at any time. We use a cloud-based software called Salonlite to book your appointments and send the reminder messages.
After visiting us, if you have provided us with an email or SMS we may send out an email/message asking for your feedback or send out special offers. We will take it that having made the appointment and providing us with contact number and email you are consenting to being contacted. You may opt out at any time.
For colour and other chemical services we will record a few more details such as hair type, colour codes what service was carried out and your preferred stylist
Depending on the service we are providing it may be that we need to ask you questions related to your medical history, in case there would be any contraindications. Any sensitive information like this will only be stored with your permission and in a lockable file.
Sunbed users when booking a course, we will ask you for your name, contact number, email and to select your skin colouring on your record card, it also requires a signature to accept you are suitable for tanning treatments. The record card also has options to write your address and DOB, however this is not essential.
We only use your contact details to send you offers, but if you do not want to receive this information then you can leave it blank. Providing us with the contact details we will take it that you are consenting to being contacted. You may opt out at any time.
All record cards are stored in a lockable file.
Sunbed courses are non-refundable.
